Is a lovely word. And I love the idea of exploring robotics and AI and sentience. And there’s a lovely solid physical quality to the machines in this film (which came out of nowhere for me certainly!) so it’s fair to say I’m looking forward to this immensely.

Pretty colours & Pixar.
Offered without comment but with a love of colour & Pixar.
*blinking startled eye*
So as those of you noticing things, we have fallen off the world slightly. The Facebook group is trundling on a little bit, but hopefully myself and Jason will start posting a little more.
We had hoped to have a lovely new theme to inspire us, but the real world has meddled with that!
In the mean time, nerdy things. Go watch Guardians of the Galaxy if you haven’t already, watched it the second time yesterday, and still in awe of the popcorny goodness of it :D
RIP Forums.
We thought about this for a while, and the unfortunate overwhelming spam attack we had made us really think about whether forums were appropriate anymore, and we’ve decided with them being used so sparsely to drop having them at all. You can still find everyone in the Facebook group and post on the articles here.
Hopefully without the forums to worry about we’ll return to a more regular update schedule (rather than none at all).

Forum issues
We’ve unfortunately had some heavy spamming stuff going on. So we’ve taken down the forum access for now (still there just locked away).
We’re still about on Facebook though :)
Jupiter Ascending
This caught me by surprise, I knew very little about it, and I loved Cloud Atlas by the Wachowskis so I’m rather hopeful for this film – plus I love my grand space opera so yes, rather excited.
The Day of the Doctor
Yes, it had that intro. Lovely it was too.
Bit late (last week of NaNoWriMo consumed me) but my thoughts on the 50th special of Doctor Who are below.
Overall I thought it was actually excellent, I had (deliberately) set my expectations very low, as there was huge pressure from all sides to deliver something stunning which meets fans expectations, the BBC’s own expectations – and to a larger extent all the other people who casually drop in and out wondering what the fuss is all about.
Spoilers. To obviously and inevitably quote River.
Doctor Who at 50
We’d be remiss to not mention it on the day itself! (Yes if you thought you had found one site which wasn’t banging on about it, sorry to disappoint.)
We’ve already mentioned the excellent Paul McGann mini-episode there’s a plethora of other wonderful goodies to look at over the jump:
X-MEN: Days of Future Past
The trailer for the new X-MEN film is out – and looking very interesting indeed – rather excited. (I did very much enjoy First Class myself though so read of that what you will!)
Winter Soldier smashy goodness
Meanwhile have a video :D
